December 8, 2011 Day 8

Shopped til we DROPPED!!!

One tradition that Chris and I always do is spend on day shopping together for Christmas gifts.  When it comes to shopping, Chris enjoys it much more that I do.  I know, it's hard to believe.  This year we decided to get everything done in one day.  Not sure that was a good idea.  We dropped the kids off at school, and headed up to Canton.  Chris's mom volunteered to pick the kids up from school for us and keep them overnight.  (What a blessing!) We went everywhere.  We tried to get everything on our list.  We did a really good job.  The kids did not ask for anything to outrageous.  We started around 9 and did not get done until around 6.  This picture is the wrapping paper that we picked.  Nothing fancy, just simple.

Yep....that's right, stick on bows.  I never claimed to be crafty.  I am when I have to be, but most of the time I choose not to be.  No ribbons, glitter, or big homemade bows for us.  Just simple peel and stick bows.

Chris and I ended our day with a nice quiet dinner at Malcuit's.  This is Chris's favorite restaurant in Tuscarawas County.  Then we headed home to do nothing other than wrap EVERYTHING! WOW, what a long day, but so worth it.  Just a few small gifts to get, then all done!
