Our Tree....

Our family tradition is to get our tree the Friday after Thanksgiving.  We have always gone to Fox's Nursery.  This year was no exception.  BUT, it was like it was May the day we got our tree.  It was wonderful.  We always go to breakfast, then over to pick out our tree.  The kids look out the window as we drive by looking for the biggest tree.  They get out of the car and run to the one that they saw that they think is the biggest.  We always get a Frasier fur tree.  One of our family traditions is that were ever we go, we always buy a Christmas ornament.  The kids love to put up the decorations as we talk about each family trip that we took.  This has proven to be a great memory for the kids. 

This kids favorite one this year was our Disney ornament.  Last year for Christmas we gave the kids a trip to Disney World.  We went in May.  We had an amazingly great time, we did not want to come home.  Both my mom and Chris's mom got to join us.  What memories we created.  I could write an entire blog on just our Disney trip!! We try to keep the gifts limited and then always give them a "mini vacation" instead.  We are not sure where the vacation trip will be this Christmas, but some of the contenders are New York City, DC, and Chicago.....we will keep you posted.
